I had it all worked out and organized. After gymnastics, we would come home have lunch, do some math games and I had a science experiment all ready to go. Maybe we could start on a wall map for the eiditarod we are signed up for. But then, the sun started to shine. Here on the west coast we get precious few sunny days at this time of year so......What else could we do but pack a snack and head down to the waterfront to play? Look at that brotherly love!
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare? No time to stand beneath the boughs and stare as long as sheep or cows. No time to see, in broad daylight, streams full of stars, like skies at night. No time to turn at Beauty's glance, and watch her feet, how they can dance. No time to wait till her mouth can, enrich that smile her eyes began? A poor life this if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare. William Henry Davies

What we did instead.
