What a beautiful day for a walk by the beach. The children saw two eagles in a tree and lots of tiny crabs under the rocks at the beach. Jamie also collected some quartz from the rocky cliffs. He met up with some friends from community gardens and they were having such a great time he didn't want to leave. What a great afternoon.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare? No time to stand beneath the boughs and stare as long as sheep or cows. No time to see, in broad daylight, streams full of stars, like skies at night. No time to turn at Beauty's glance, and watch her feet, how they can dance. No time to wait till her mouth can, enrich that smile her eyes began? A poor life this if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare. William Henry Davies

wow wow wow!!!
Hi Colleen! The little ones are asleep for an hour or so, so I thought I'd pop on quick and visit your blog. I'm leaving a note on this post particularly because WE were going to join in on this same event with YNC (but ended up having too much to do that day)! I didn't know you were in the club and now that I do, I may be even more motivated to make the activities :)
Thanks for the visit today, your blog is really great! Have fun!
